Our Tilt & Turn Windows

Tilt and turn windows are different from traditional UK windows because of their clever opening mechanism. With one turn of the handle, the window tilts inward from the top, providing ventilation. Turn the handle again, and the whole window opens inward like a door, making it easy to clean both sides from inside your home.


This practical design is particularly useful for upper floors where cleaning windows from the outside might be difficult or dangerous. The tilt position lets you ventilate your room securely - ideal for bedrooms where you want fresh air overnight, or for keeping your home ventilated when you're out.


Tilt and turn windows seal tightly when closed, helping to keep your home warm and quiet. The mechanism pulls the window firmly into the frame, creating an excellent barrier against draughts and noise.  Our tilt and turn windows offer great durability and come with double glazing as standard.

  • Are tilt and turn windows complicated to use?

    No, they're very straightforward - one handle controls both opening positions. Your installer will show you how to use them after fitting.

  • Are they suitable for all rooms?

    Aluminium and uPVC tilt and turn windows work well in most rooms, but they're particularly useful in upstairs rooms or anywhere that needs easy cleaning access from inside.

  • How secure are tilt and turn windows?

    Tilt and turn windows feature multi-point locking systems around the entire frame, making sure that they're no less secure than any other window type and offer you peace of mind for your property.
